Cryptid Crate Junior August 2025

The Junior Crate this month features, the Water Leaper.

The Water Leaper or Llamhigyn y Dŵr (roughly pronounced “thlamheegin uh duwr”) is a viscous monster from Welsh folklore who leaps across water before attacking its pray, hence its name Water Leaper. It is a huge legless frog with giant bat wings, sharp teeth and a scorpion-like tail 3 times the length of it's body, with a deadly stinger at its end.
