The April 2022 Cryptid Crate had a loose April Fool's theme. We focused on cryptids that are more likely to be jokes, pranks, or hoaxes but had other random items in there too.
-Alone in the Muck by Anton Kukal- MSRP $14
Systema Paradoxa Volume 7 -
After what felt like a lifetime in the sewers, Inspector Max Dalton would have thought he'd seen everything. He would have been wrong. When his trainees discover something inexplicable in the muck, life changes radically for all of them, including Max's granddaughter, Gwen.
News of their discovery gets out and bounty hunters invade the tunnels beneath the city, forcing Max's cooperation in their fruitless search.
With life and love and liberty in the balance, Gwen will need help from an unexpected source to evade those looking to capture her new friend.
-Jackelope T-Shirt- MSRP $20
Your favorite fictional festival! Would you attend or flee in terror? Art courtesy of Flatwoods Monster Museum.
-Good Luck Mini Bigfoot and Giant Squid - MSRP $3.5
OK, so these don't entirely fit the theme this month, but we figure the irony of a huge sasquatch and giant squid in miniscule form is some pretty good irony for this month.
Cryptids Not Cryptocurrency Foil Sticker - MSRP $4
How many times have you had to explain this to people? Although if you think about it, they kind of have a lot in common. Have you ever actually seen a bitcoin? Art by Stevie Wilson. Check out their Etsy here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/swinku and some nice comics on instagram @sw_inku
